Gooseflower Farm began not as a business, but as a desire to truly understand where our food came from and how the animals that nourished us were raised. In 2017, we started homesteading in Connecticut, raising our first flock of meat birds to feed our family of four. That spark grew into a deeper journey: from chickens to turkeys, then rabbits and pigs, each step reaffirming our commitment to raising animals with dignity, care, and connection to the natural world.

In 2022, our path led us to Trumansburg, New York, where we now steward 15 acres of open fields and lush pastures for our small herd of grass-fed beef cattle, group of pigs, and flock of egg-laying chicken. What began with a few chickens has become a way of life—one rooted in transparency, regenerative farming, and reverence for the land. We believe animals should live as they were meant to: pigs rooting in the soil, cows roaming through grass, birds chasing bugs beneath the sun. At Gooseflower Farm, we raise food not just for nourishment, but with the belief that how we care for life matters—every step of the way.
